Czech 2011 - Travels...

DSC_6576Pearl and I are on the road again.

There's something in our blood that loves to travel and when a last minute opportunity came up for us to go to the Czech Republic with my work to pray and dream about what God is doing Eastern Europe, we flexible our budget and schedule to make it happen. We left DC yesterday and arrived in Frankfurt Germany this morning. An extended layover opened the window for a stretching of our legs beyond the airport and here's a little of what we saw today.

First, my amazing traveling companion and wife!
She and baby (yes we're pregnant!!) are traveling great.

The cityscape of Frankfort is amazing. We through a gorgeous Cathedral and streets that hide amazing craftsmanship in it's details and people.

And of course we "happened" to find a Starbucks.... some habits seem to never leave.
DSC_6710DSC_6706DSC_6683We observed a wedding celebration. The couple had just signed the "paperwork" and was publicly announcing it to all of Frankfort with a robust and cheery dance in the town square.DSC_6635DSC_6618DSC_6613DSC_6602We're traveling this week with Andy and Teri Martin and Brad and Beth Steele. We had a couple of moments of not knowing where we were going, but we explored, had fun, ate a bratwurst from a street cart in Germany, an "americana" from Starbucks, danced in a Turkish wedding celebration, and still made our connecting flight on time.

Best layover ever!
