One's a coming

Another blog is coming. I've just been in a funk here lately. I feel like all my rhythms have been disruptted and I'm in that spot of now trying to get back on pace.

Thanks for praying for me these past few weeks as I’ve been teaching in Saturate. We finish up the series next Tuesday, and then Pearl will start a 2-week series on doubt (I’m excited to hear her teach, she’s a great teacher!). It’s been fun teaching a series instead of just a stand-alone night. I feel like I have a huge honor of casting vision for our community, of calling us to more than just paying our mortgages or finding a spouse, but finding something to give our life to. I love this community; I believe deeply in them, Good things are happening, God things are happening.

God, please move in our communities, help us know how to respond, how to lead, how to cast vision, how to stir hearts. Keep our hearts close to yours, our thoughts close to your thoughts, our desires inline with yours.

Thanks for your prayers we covet them.

This weekend I will be apart of a group of adults creating experiences for 100+ 7th and 8th graders to experience God. Please be praying for the small group leaders as they love on these students, for Sean and his tech team as they have some huge set up /program demands on them, for me as I teach these 4 gatherings, for safety, for snow (so kids can ski), but most importantly that over the course of these 50 hours that these students will embrace God and his immense love for them.
